Privacy Policy

The short version

You can use this whole service without giving us your name, your email, or anything else. If you choose to add an email so you can pick a schedule up on another device, we use it to sign you in and for nothing else. We do not sell anything to anyone, and there is no advertising or tracking on this site.

What we store

If you never sign in: the display name you type, the days you vote on, any notes you post, and an anonymous identifier your browser is given so the service can tell your answers apart from everyone else's. That identifier is not linked to you as a person.

If you sign in with email or Google: additionally your email address, whether it has been confirmed, which sign-in method you used, and the display name on your profile. From Google we receive only your email address, name and profile picture — nothing else, and we do not get access to your Google account.

If the schedule tracks payments: whether the host has marked you as paid, and when. No payment details are ever collected or stored by this service — money changes hands between you and your organiser however you already arrange it.

Who can see it

A schedule is visible to anyone who has its link. That is how it is meant to work — the link is the invitation. Treat a schedule link the way you would treat the invitation itself, and do not post one publicly if the guest list is private.

Your email address is never shown to the host or to other participants. They see the display name you chose and nothing more.

Where it is kept

Data is stored using Google Firebase, on Google's servers in the United States, and is subject to Google's privacy terms. Sign-in emails are sent through the same service. We do not run our own servers and we do not copy your data anywhere else.

Cookies and tracking

There are no advertising cookies, no analytics, and no third-party trackers. The service keeps a small amount of data in your browser's local storage — the name you are using and your sign-in session — so it can recognise you when you come back. Clearing your browser data clears it, and if you have not signed in that identity is gone for good.

Keeping and deleting

Schedules are kept until they are deleted. Anonymous accounts that are never signed in to are removed automatically after 30 days of inactivity.

You can ask for your account and personal data to be deleted at any time, and we will do it. Note that votes already cast on someone else's schedule belong to that schedule; removing your account does not automatically erase them, but we can remove those too if you ask.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top will change with it.
